German Apples And Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large red apples
    1 medium head red cabbage
    1/4 c. red wine vinegar
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. honey
Preparation
    Core and slice apples and cook in butter in a large skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes.
    Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Lower heat, cover and simmer until cabbage is tender, a little more than half an hour.
