Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Hillshire sweet Italian sausage
    1 1/2 lb. ground meat
    1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
    3/4 gal. can Sam's diced tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground pepper
    1/8 c. Anisette liquor
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 bay leaves
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 large green pepper, diced
    1 c. grated carrot
    1 c. grated zucchini (optional)
    1 1/2 Tbsp. oregano
    1 Tbsp. sweet basil
Preparation
    Brown sausage, set aside and cut into thirds.
    Brown ground meat, onion and green pepper; drain.
    Mix all ingredients and cook over low heat for 2 to 3 hours.
    Drain other fat from top of sauce as it cooks.
