Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 oz. red food coloring
2 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vinegar
2 1/2 c. cake flour (1 c. equals 7/8 c. all-purpose flour)
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs; mix.
Add cocoa, flour and 2 teaspoons vanilla to the mixture.
Mix salt, buttermilk, 2 teaspoons vanilla and coloring together; add slowly to flour mixture.
