Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. egg whites (12)
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour with 3/4 cup sugar four times.
    Beat egg whites, cream of tartar, salt and vanilla until soft peaks form, but still moist.
    Add remaining 3/4 cup sugar to egg whites, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating after each.
    Sift 1/4 of flour over egg whites and fold in.
