Mary'S Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pk. green tomatoes
    1 c. salt
    8 large onions
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    water and vinegar to cover mixture
    12 hot peppers
    12 bell peppers
    5 c. sugar
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Grind tomatoes, onions and pepper in food chopper. Add salt and let stand overnight. Drain. Then add equal parts of water and vinegar to cover. Bring to a boil. Drain again. Add sugar, 1 quart vinegar, cinnamon, allspice and cloves. Boil 20 minutes. Pack in jars and seal. Makes about 12 pints.
