Danish Pudding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or butter (softened)
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. orange juice
    1 Tbsp. orange peel
    3 c. flour
    1 1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. dates (chopped)
    1 c. pecans (chopped)
Preparation
    Blend first seven ingredients until creamy.
    Add remaining ingredients and stir until well blended.
    Pour into a greased and floured tube cake pan.
