Heidi'S Favorite Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. (10 oz. pkg.) English toffee bits
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Stir together flour, baking soda and salt in a large mixer bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until well blended.
    Add eggs; blend thoroughly. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well. Stir in toffee bits. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
    Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
