Lazy Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. plus 1 1/2 tsp. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. milk
    butter or margarine, melted
    cinnamon-sugar
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Combine flour, baking powder, nutmeg and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
    Fill greased muffin cups two-thirds full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
    Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
    Dip doughnuts in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon-sugar.
    Serve warm. Yield: about 10 servings.
