Stewed Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can tomatoes
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 slices toast, cut into small cubes
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except toast.
    Cook slowly for 30 minutes.
    Add toast cubes.
    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
