Icebox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. vanilla wafers (box)
    1 small bottle cherries (no juice)
    1 can Baker's coconut
    2 c. nuts, chopped
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    1 pkg. chopped dates
    pinch of salt
    canned fruit (as you desire)
Preparation
    Crush vanilla wafers fine; put all ingredients together and mix well.
    Pour milk in and mix well.
    Put in a bowl lined with wax paper.
    Cover; put in icebox for 24 hours before cutting.
