Hot Chicken Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 double chicken breasts, cooked until tender
1 c. finely chopped celery
3 cans water chestnuts, drained and sliced
3 c. mayonnaise
3 large cans mushrooms, stems and pieces
2 pkg. slivered almonds (1 to 2 c.)
1 small jar pimento
3 cans French fried onion rings
3 c. grated, sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Cook chicken until tender; tear off in bite size pieces.
Mix with remaining ingredients except onion rings and cheese.
Pour into large greased baking dish.
Spread on top French fried onion rings and grated cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until hot and bubbly, about 30 minutes.
This freezes well.
