Golfers' Special Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 to 6 lb.) chuck roast or 1 thick round steak
    1 can mushroom soup (undiluted)
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix (undiluted)
    4 to 6 pared potatoes (optional)
    4 to 6 pared carrots (optional)
Preparation
    Place roast on a
    large sheet of heavy-duty foil; cover with dry soup mix
    and
    mushroom
    soup.\tAdd potatoes and carrots. Bring foil up and cover;
    roll and secure edges tightly about 6 inches above
    roast
    so
    no moisture escapes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 3 to 4 hours or until meat is tender.
