Ingredients

1 stick butter or margarine, softened
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) bag Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips or 1 (10 oz.) bag Reese's peanut butter chips
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
In a large mixer bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until well blended.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
Gradually add to butter mixture, beating until well blended.
Stir in chips.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until set.
Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
