Pear Cobbler - cooking recipe

1 qt. pears
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. margarine or oleo
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, well beaten
Preparation

Pour into oblong baking dish the pears, 2/3 cup sugar, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon oleo.
Mix together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and egg.
Mixture will be crumbly.
Cover the fruit, then pour 1/3 cup melted oleo evenly over dough.
Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar and a dash of cinnamon.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven until brown.
