Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
3 Tbsp. or more water
Preparation

Sift flour before measuring.
Add salt and sugar to flour and sift again.
Using pastry blender, cut in shortening to flour mixture.
Beat egg; blend in water and vinegar and pour over flour mixture and blend.
Mixture will be more moist than standard mixture so wrap in wax paper and chill at least 30 minutes.
Then leave at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before rolling out to use.
