Pork Chops With Lima Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops, 3/4 to 1-inch thick
    salt and pepper to taste
    flour
    shortening
    1 can lima beans
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 c. whole tomatoes, drained
    1/2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper.
    Coat chops with flour, brown on both sides in hot shortening.
    Place lima beans in casserole dish; sprinkle with onion.
    Place chops on beans; top with tomatoes.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake, covered at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, until chops are tender.
    Liquid from tomatoes can be used during baking, if necessary.
    Makes 4 servings.
