Chocolate Bread 'N Butter Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 c. small cubes day old bread
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    4 oz. semi or bitter-sweet chocolate, grated
    5 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    2 c. heavy cream, warmed
    2 c. milk, warmed
Preparation
    Place bread cubes in a shallow, 2-quart baking dish (12 x 3 x 2 1/2-inch high oven dish works well).
    Pour butter over bread and toss to mix well.
    Gently stir in chocolate.
    Heat eggs with sugar, vanilla and salt, then beat in warmed cream and milk.
    Pour custard over bread crumbs.
    Place baking dish in a larger pan.
    Add hot water to come halfway up the sides of the baking dish.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven until custard is set, about 45 minutes.
