Pepper Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. green bell pepper
    1 1/2 c. red bell pepper
    1/4 c. red, white or green hot peppers (optional)
    6 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 bottle liquid fruit pectin
Preparation
    Grind peppers together.
    In a kettle, blend sugar and vinegar. Mix in ground peppers.
    Bring to a brisk boil for 3 minutes.
    Add pectin and boil 1 minute more.
    Remove kettle from heat and allow to set for 7 minutes.
    Pour into hot, sterilized jars and seal.
