Carolyn'S Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium container cool whip
    1 pkg. family size vanilla pudding mix (not Instant)
    1 can coconut
    2 tall cans fruit cocktail (drained)
    1 can mandarin oranges
    1 small can crushed pineapple (drained)
    1 C buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix Cool Whip and buttermilk.
    Sprinkle pudding mix over top. Stir.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Chill at least one hour before serving.
    This recipe came from a very dear friend who we were stationed with at Eglin AFB Florida.
