Grilled Mushroom And Cheese Sandwich - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    3 slices bacon
    6 slices white bread, toasted
    3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1 medium onion, sliced in rings
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Saute bacon until crisp.
    Remove, drain and crumble.
    Reserve 3 tablespoons bacon drippings; add mushrooms for 2 minutes. Spread toast with mayonnaise; top with sauteed mushrooms, crumbled bacon, onion rings and cheese.
    Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 8 minutes or until hot and cheese is melted.
    Serves 3 as entree or cut into quarters and serve as hors d'oeuvres.
