One Egg Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add unbeaten egg and vanilla. Beat well.
Sift flour.
Sift with baking powder and salt.
Add alternately with milk to creamed shortening.
