Filled Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour or buttermilk
    1 c. ground and cooked raisins in 1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Cream shortening; add sugars and cream well.
    Add soda mixed with sour milk and flour to make a soft dough.
    Roll out and cut with round cookie cutter.
    Place on a cookie sheet and fill with raisin mixture.
    Top with another cookie that has been dipped in sugar.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until light brown.
