Flaky Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. Crisco
    1 egg, beaten
    water as needed to make 1/2 c.
Preparation
    Mix
    flour
    and
    salt.\tCut Crisco in flour, then add 1 egg beaten
    with
    water
    added to make 1/2 cup.
    This makes a soft pastry
    so\troll on rolling pin to put on top of chicken pie or use as a regular pastry for pie.
