Fried Bass With Maitre D'Hotel Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 (1 lb.) bass, dressed and skinned
    salt and pepper
    1 garlic clove, mashed
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/4 c. cornmeal
    1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Prepare the sauce first.
    Mix 1/4 cup margarine with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
    Stir in the garlic and lemon juice followed by chopped parsley.
    Dredge fish in a mixture of salted cornmeal and flour.
    Fry in hot oil until browned. Serve with the sauce.
