Divinity Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cook and stir ingredients until sugar dissolves.
    Continue cooking to a soft ball stage, testing in a cup of water.
    Beat 3 egg whites stiff not dry.
    Gradually pour one half of soft ball mixture over egg whites very slowly as hot mixture will cook the egg whites.
