Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. sour milk
    1 c. apples, unpeeled
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Sift flour, salt, baking powder and soda.
    Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture along with 2 teaspoons sour milk.
    Add unpeeled apples and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
