Boiled Green Peanuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 gal. green peanuts
12 to 16 oz. salt to taste
3 to 4 gal. water
Preparation

Take Highway 231 south out of Dothan to Highway 109.
Turn right.
Go to Florida state line, first farm on right past state line.
Owned by Mark Nolin.
Get about 1 1/2 gallons of green peanuts, about 3/4 matured (not fully mature).
Bring home.
Put in cast-iron pot with 3 or 4 gallons of water.
Add salt to taste. Boil slowly 1 1/2 to 2 hours until peanuts are tender.
