Mom'S Toffee Ice Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    vanilla wafers
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
    1 1/2 c. chopped Heath English toffee bars
    1 c. evaporated milk
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Line a 9-inch buttered pie pan with vanilla wafers on the side and bottom.
    Spoon half the ice cream in the shell.
    Sprinkle 1/4 cup chopped candy over this.
    Top with remaining ice cream. Garnish with 1/4 cup candy bits.
    Freeze until serving time.
