Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted xxxx sugar
1 c. margarine
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Cream sugar and margarine.
Add egg, vanilla and almond extract.
Mix.
Sift together the flour, soda and cream of tartar. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
Roll out.
Cut to desired shapes.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 6 to 7 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
Cool.
Decorate as desired.
