Potatoes Boulangere - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 onions, thinly sliced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
    1 c. consomme (one 8 oz. can)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3/4 tsp. ground marjoram
    1/4 c. minced parsley
Preparation
    Cook onions in butter for 5 minutes, or until soft and golden. Add potatoes, consomme, salt, pepper and marjoram.
    Cook, covered, over lowest possible heat, for 25 to 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
    Sprinkle with parsley.
    Makes 4 servings.
