Ingredients

2 1/2 c. milk
dash of salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. Minute rice (uncooked)
1 egg yolk or 2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. margarine
2 tsp. milk
Preparation

Boil milk; add all ingredients except egg yolk and 2 teaspoons milk.
Stir frequently.
After 10 minutes, beat egg yolk and milk. Add to rice mixture, stirring rapidly.
Cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
