Trace Creek Stag Night Potatoes(Aka Hash Brown Potato Casserole) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1 c. melted butter
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    12 oz. grated American cheese or 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 small onion, chopped
    2 c. crushed cornflakes
Preparation
    Place potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Mix 1/2 cup melted butter, cream of chicken soup, grated cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper and onion.
    Pour over potatoes.
    Top with cornflakes and drizzle 1/2 cup melted butter over all.
    Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
