Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising corn meal
    1 c. cream-style corn
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 small jar jalapeno peppers, chopped
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. cheese
    2/3 c. oil
Preparation
    Mix well all ingredients, except cheese.
    Pour half of batter in a hot skillet.
    Sprinkle half of cheese over batter.
    Pour in the rest of the batter and top with cheese.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
