Apricot Jam Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine/butter at room temperature
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg yolk
    3/4 c. chopped nuts (pecans/walnuts)
    1 (10 oz.) jar apricot jam *
Preparation
    *Any jam works well if you don't like apricot.
