Ingredients

1/4 c. Crisco
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. buttermilk
1 1/3 c. flour
Preparation

Add baking soda to buttermilk and set aside.
Beat eggs; add Crisco and mix.
Take 1/2 of flour mixture and baking powder, then take 1/2 of buttermilk mixture and mix well; add rest of buttermilk and flour and mix.
Make pancakes thin on griddle. Serves 4.
