Ingredients

1 1/2 tsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
6 oz. Swiss-style or imported white chocolate or 1 c. white chocolate chips
Preparation

Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Beat butter and sugars until fluffy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Beat in flour mixture until just combined.
Stir in chocolates.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake until edges brown, but centers are still slightly soft, 10 to 12 minutes.
Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before cooling on a rack.
Will yield 5 dozen cookies.
