Lammasmuhennos(Lamb Stew) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. boneless lamb, cubed
    2 leeks, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
    1 c. shredded cabbage
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    6 potatoes, sliced
    4 carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. water
Preparation
    Place alternate layers of meat and vegetables in a large Dutch oven.
    Sprinkle each layer with salt and pepper.
    Add water.
    Bring to a boil and reduce the heat.
    Cover and simmer 1/2 hour or until the meat is tender.
    Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
