Zucchini Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. yellow cornmeal
    3/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs
    1 c. shredded zucchini
    1/2 c. chopped red or green bell pepper
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped jalapeno or Serrano chili peppers
Preparation
    Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Mix all ingredients, except zucchini, bell pepper, onion and chilies.
    Beat vigorously 30 seconds.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
