"Cold Oven" Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks and 1 Tbsp. butter
    3 c. sugar
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    5 eggs (add 1 at a time)
    2 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add flour and baking powder alternately with milk.
    End with milk.
    Add in eggs, one at a time.
    Stir in lemon flavoring.
    Place in a cold oven. Set oven at 350\u00b0 and bake 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    Do not open oven at any time before baking is completed.
