Ingredients

2 1/2 c. thinly sliced onions
2 1/2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3 cans condensed beef broth
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 French rolls or toast
grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Cook onions in butter until lightly browned.
Add broth and Worcestershire sauce.
Bring to boil; season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle toast with Parmesan cheese.
Pour soup into bowls. Float toast.
For a gourmet touch, place in preheated broiler a few seconds, until cheese is lightly browned.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
