Baked Summer Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
    2 slices toast, diced
    3 tsp. butter
    grated sharp cheese
    squash, diced large
    paprika
    salt and pepper
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Cook squash in small amount of salted water until barely tender.
    Combine squash with the onion, toast, butter, salt, pepper and paprika.
    Stir in raw egg.
    Place in a greased baking dish.
    Cover with cheese.
    Bake in a moderate oven until cheese is melted and squash is quite hot.
