Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 ready to bake pie crust
    1 can (16 oz.) pumpkin
    2 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 c. undiluted evaporated milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Combine first eight ingredients.
    Pour in pie crust.
    Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
    Cool.
    Garnish with whipped topping if desired.
    Cover edge of crust with strips of foil after 15 to 20 minutes of baking to prevent excessive browning.
