Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh peaches
    1 stick margarine
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 c. whole milk
Preparation
    Combine the peaches and 3/4 cup sugar.
    Let stand 20 minutes. Melt the margarine in 1 1/2-quart baking dish in oven. Sift together flour, 1 cup sugar and baking powder.
    Add milk and stir briskly.
    Lumps will remain. Pour into baking dish or melted butter. Top with peaches.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
