Lemon Scones(Flaky, Tender Biscuits With A Twist!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. margarine or butter
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/2 c. currants or raisins
    4 to 6 Tbsp. milk
    grated peel from 1 lemon
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and margarine.
    Cut with pastry blender until fine.
    Stir in 1 egg, raisins, lemon peel and enough milk until dough leaves sides of bowl.
