Christmas Gift Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. unbleached flour
3/4 c. wheat germ
1/2 c. dried milk powder
2 Tbsp. sesame seed
2 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. water
Preparation

Combine the flours, wheat germ, dried milk powder, sesame seed, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Stir in the water well.
Butter four 1 pound shortening cans.
Pour in the batter.
Smooth tops.
Cover each tightly with foil.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
Immediately remove bread from cans.
Cool on racks.
