Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground meat (lean)
    1 to 2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 (6 or 8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 egg
    4 Tbsp. minced onion
    3/4 to 1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. dried sage
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Beat egg in large bowl; add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly, but do not overwork the mixture. Pack into 5 x 9-inch loaf pan. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes or until done. Spread with ketchup during the last 10 to 15 minutes of baking.
