Caramel Nut Popcorn Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 qt. popped corn
    1 c. nuts
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Spread corn and nuts in large shallow pan and place in preheated 250\u00b0 oven. Combine butter, sugar, syrup and salt in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Boil until 248\u00b0 (firm-ball stage). Remove from heat. Stir in soda. Pour over corn and nuts. Stir gently to coat. Bake 45 minutes at 250\u00b0, stirring every 15 minutes.
