Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O (1 small box for 2 pies)
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    1 pt. strawberries, halved
    1 graham cracker pie crust
    Cool Whip (optional)
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients in saucepan.
    Add boiling water and boil until mixture thickens and clears.
    Let cool.
    Add strawberry halves in pie shell.
    Pour cooled Jell-O mixture over strawberries and refrigerate until congealed, about 3 hours.
    Slice and top with Cool Whip, if desired.
