Squash Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    3 c. grated yellow squash
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 to 3 tsp. crushed sweet red pepper
Preparation
    Combine the first 6 ingredients.
    Beat with electric mixer until smooth.
    Add remaining ingredients; stir well.
    Drop mixture by tablespoons into a hot, greased skillet.
    Cook until golden brown, turning once.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Yields about 2 dozen patties.
