Hungarian Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef cubes
    2 medium onions
    paprika (2 tsp. or more for color)
    6 large potatoes
    oil
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cut beef cubes in pieces about one-inch square or smaller. Cut up onions medium fine.
    Fry onions in oil until brown.
    Add paprika and stir.
    Add water, about 4 cups.
    Simmer until beef is nearly tender.
    Add potatoes (cubed pieces).
    Cook until potatoes are done.
    Eat as is or pour over noodles or rice.
